What make you special as a model?
What makes me special is that I represent various nationalities.
Why do you choose to wear your hair the way you do?
I love how it makes me feel, strong, confident, interesting, and it gives me different looks.
What does your hair mean to you?
Is it just an accessory that compliments your personality and style or is it deeper than that? It means the world to me. Every inch represents grow in my life as a young male along with my experiences in life.
Would you ever shave your hair or perm it for a gig? Please elaborate.
Not at all.
How important is a woman’s hair to you?
Not that important. There are sexy women with low cuts.
Are you single, married or dating? If you’re dating or married, how does she wear her hair? Natural, permed or weave and do you like it? If you are not dating, what type of hair should your ideal future woman have and how should she wear her hair?
I’m dating and she wears her hair natural, she is Spanish, I love it.
Have you ever been stereotyped?
Yes, I was considered to be a dumb jock in an English composition class by a classmate, until I opened my mouth and shocked the class. Show her 3.0 baby. Lol.
Can you please explain?
I was a football player in college and the girl thought I was one of those athletes that let’s people do my work for me. The class was discussing a kilpatrick article and wer had to break down what he meant in the article. When I haber my input on it she said to me I must apologize I thought you were just another dumb jock.
Do you think black hair is an issue? Why or why not?
No, because if you look at the industry you have white women who envy the black style and culture especially the women. Women from various races and nationalities are now wearing braids and putting in weaves.
Are there things that you as a man would like to see changed when it comes to natural hairstyles and society? For instance men with locs and cornrows are being stereotyped and like to see that changed, some men think that too many women wear weaves and some men don’t like the natural styles that women wear these days.
I would like to see the stereotyping of black styles always being considered criminal to the elderly and fitting the description to police. Not every black man with dreads and /or braids is a drug dealer or rapper. As far as weaves on women are concerned, take care of it I hate when it looks matted or shabby and waaaay to much. I would love to see that changed.
