I have been in the hair industry for over 16 years and have had the privilege of working as a salon manager, creative director and consultant for one of the top natural hair salons in the country. This has afforded me the opportunity to have my creative designs grace numerous magazines, television shows, and high profiled celebrities. However, throughout the years I realized that there was something terribly missing in the hair care industry……HAIR CARE! Believing that the integrity/health of our hair should not be sacrificed or compromised for beauty, but rather true beauty IS natural, healthy hair, I created Meko, New York Natural Hair Care Spa & Boutique.

WHO WE ARE
We are hair & scalp specialists that focus on nurturing beautiful, healthy hair, naturally. WHY WE ARE NATURAL There are natural alternatives to toxic synthetics product for treating certain hair loss, hair breakage, dandruff, dry, flaky, and itchy scalp. Synthetic products mainly cover over the problem thus causing more damage, not only to our hair and scalp, but to our immune system as well. This is because whatever we put on our skin is absorbed into the body. On the contrary, natural products have been shown to be more effective, more safe and more economical in clinical trials than their synthetic counterparts. So by eliminating chemicals from our hair care regimen, and using natural ingredients, we can prevent damaged to the hair and scalp. The overall condition of our hair and scalp is contributed to the products we choose to use.
