Why did you become a model and what is your goal as a model?
I became a model as a means to get my face out to the world and the goal is to open other doors.
How important is your hair as a model? Why do you choose to wear your hair the way you do?
As a model my hair is extremely important it lends to who I am… I choose to wear it this way because it adds to the androgyny.
What does your hair mean to you? Is it just an accessory that compliments your personality and style or is it deeper than that?
My hair, to me, means energy and at times life. Its more than an accessory it’s part of who I am as person, it can determine the type o day I’m having or will have… A woman’s hair is extremely important I think her hair be it short, or long adds to her beauty… Neither a weave nor a relaxer or natural matter I think they’re all gorgeous…
Is the texture of a woman’s hair important to you?And length?
Texture is unimportant so is length, all that is important is how well its kept up…
Do you think black hair is an issue? Why or why not?
Black hair has never been an issue for those of us with it, understanding black hair is what poses the problem once you understand the many things you can do with it, it will make lie that much easier…
Last Words:
Take care of and be good to your hair.
This is part of a series “Men and Napps” interviewing Black men about their experience with Natural Hair.
