Alma Flippin Challenge 4 - Iman Cosmetics, America's Next Natural Model iman, cheetah, cosmetics, carlie 0
I approached this challenge with some trepidation since Iman is a world-renowned beauty and I’m just an average woman. So I know my photos could not compare to hers. But I faced up to the challenge and decided to just go for it. The look I wanted to accomplish was one of easy beauty with subtle accessories to hint at the cheetah look.
The thought that came to my mind when I read that we were doing a cheetah look for this challenge was that all women are predators and we use our wiles to capture our prey. Though we treat our captives in a much pleasanter fashion than the wild animal. So I discarded the thought of photographing like a wild animal with fangs and talons and decided instead to emphasize the ability of Iman cosmetics to enhance our natural beauty.
I went for approachable yet fierce beauty with some classic undertones.
I achieved this look starting with the Luxury Radiance Foundation which matches and evens out your skin tone.
Followed with the St Tropez Kit Bronzer as a finishing powder. I then used the Jet Black Pencil to emphasize my eyebrows and line my eyelids. This is the best pencil I have ever used! It glides on so smoothly it’s fun to use.
After this, I lightly used the blush #1 on my cheeks.
I also used it just under my eyebrows for a pop of color. This was followed with the eyeshadows. I used all four and blended to create a unique look. On my lips, I also blended the 2 lipsticks and the 2 lip glosses from the St Tropez Kit to create a new lip color. To finish, I applied the mascara generously over my sparse eyelashes. Seriously, my husband has nicer eyelashes than I do, but this mascara does the trick and gives me what mother nature withheld.
This St Tropez Kit is a complete beauty bag in one little compact like box. I love it!
I hope my looks inspire all the natural ladies out there to find their inner cheetah and capture their intended prey with a little help from Iman Cosmetics.
Iman Cosmetics are rich and apply easily, I love them.
The Cheetah eyeshadow look.
Subtlety is queen.
Come hither, I search for prey…
A classic look, roaring 20s maybe? Perfect decade for Cheetah chicness.
