Well hello my people.  I am so new to all of this.  This is the first time I’ve ever attempted to blog or express myself through my hair.  I’ve searched the web for the past couple months trying to find an outlet like this.

I live in Minnesota and there is a huge community of nappiness.  I’ve been natural for almost two years now and at 37 years old I can honestly say that I have redefined who I am by going natural.  I love me now more than I ever have.

Being natural allows me to express myself in ways I’ve never dreamed of.  I’ve always had a “different” style of dress.  Now, my hair sets it off.  I never new that I could dress according to my naps.  I love it (you’ll quickly notice that loving me is something I enjoy)…….not in a conceided type of way.  I’m simply loving my blackness.
