Alimatu Sallah Transitioning Thoughts Going natural, loc, transitioning, begun, From Relaxed to Natural, journey 0
I have been hiatus for 2 months…WOW!!!! Well, I started a new job so with that and active 16 month old and online studies, I have hardly had time for blogging…..

Ok…Update….
I’m now 3 weeks into locing my hair. I have tried this twice before and was unsuccessful due to impatience. I’m now on that journey again but with a different frame of mine. BTW, I’m now 3 months natural :).
Working as a secretary and starting locs is challenging. I have to always look as neat as possible so letting my hair grow out for weeks at a time before re-twisting is a problem. I have already re-twist my hair 2 times since I started the journey which I found will be bad for my locs in the long run, so I’m going to try watching every 2 weeks and interlock them until the baby stage has passed.
Generally I’m loving it so far. I don’t use much products. I spray every morning with my moisture mix (leave-in condish, olive oil, castor oil and water) I’m not too itchy. I make sure I protect the babies at night with a satin cap.
