Who is your Favorite model?
That’s a good question.
What is your favorite book?
48 Laws of Power.
What is your favorite movie?
Lincoln Lawyer.
Why did you become a model and what is your goal as a model?
I became a model because it’s a good way to be exposed to new people and to travel.
How important is your hair as a model? Why do you choose to wear your hair the way you do?
After almost 6 years of growing my hair, it is more so an extension of me as a person. I choose to wear my hair in locks because I feel that it symbolizes strength, individuality, and independence.
What does your hair mean to you? Is it just an accessory that compliments your personality and style or is it deeper than that?
To me my hair embodies the pureness of nature and reflects that I am strong enough to be my own person no matter what society deems acceptable.

How important is a woman’s hair to you? Does a weave, relaxed hair or a natural head bother you or do you have a preference for either of these styles?
A woman’s hair is important to me. I feel that the way a woman chooses to wear/style her hair is a clear reflection of how she views herself and wants to be perceived by others. I don’t have a preference on how a woman wears her hair as long as it is kept up. It shows me that she values her appearance.
What do you think of our pageant “America’s Next Natural Model” to promote natural African hair?
I think that is a great and unique way to help promote awareness and the benefits of wearing natural hair. I believe that black hair is not an issue however, the perception that goes along with natural black hair is in society. Mainstream media proves this everyday with its advertising and depiction of what is beautiful.
Do you think black hair is an issue? Why or why not?
No, I think that it depends on the person. If you want to take care of your hair, you will. It takes work but I’d pick it over weave any day. Black hair is scrutinized because they say it’s nappy or dirty. Man Please!!! I’ve seen it and everyone’s hair is different. But if you manage it right, it will be just fine, besides your hair is your hair. You are the perfect you. So I can’t have a problem with that.
