I flat ironed my hair for almost a decade. I had so much heat damage and breakage.         

                                                                         

Looking back, has your perception of your hair or black hair in general changed? Please elaborate.

Yes! I now I get sad when I hear Black women say that straight wigs, weaves, and relaxing their hair makes them feel confident, pretty, and polished.

Most girls loved their first perm. Do you remember yours? Was it a special occassion, how old were you and how did you feel about it?

I have never had one.

Mine… because I don’t see a lot of 4C vloggers out there. I love my hair because: I can have ANY style in the world but not everyone can have the styles I can achieve.
