All too often we try and become what we think others want to see; but how about just doing you? That is exactly what week four of the Miss Nappturality competition calls for and I am thrilled about it!
All too often we try and become what we think others want to see; but how about just doing you? That is exactly what week four of the Miss Nappturality competition calls for and I am thrilled about it! You see, just because I am a woman who happens to rock the locks everyone automatically thinks they have me figured out, but not so! I am a woman of nature not just living naturally but enjoying what God has given us on the outside! Therefore, when I got the call that this agency wanted to see me in my element? I forgot about everything, and for this shoot I became myself. I was all too happy to pull on my favorite shoes, cowboy boots! I grabbed my much loved wrap, wrapped up my hair and off to the mountains I went. This is where I feel most comfortable in the midst of nature. The Joshua trees, rocks, desert, fresh air, horses and majestic mountains became my backdrop for this week. I want to show my best side; my most comfortable side and it come forth when I am amongst nature.
I may not know what the agency wants to see, but they will get me in my truest form. Roughing it out, climbing the trails becoming one with nature and dressed down in my most comfortable clothing.
