All too often we try and become what we think others want to see; but how about just doing you? That is exactly what week four of the Miss Nappturality competition calls for and I am thrilled about it!
Challenge 4 – Hats and Scarfs

The first few moments of a photo shoot are always the most intimidating for me… I don’t fit into a box or a category, I am colorful and untamed, changing with each life event and situation, and always producing something different.
If I had no time do my hair and had an important go see to attend, I would just grab a spray bottle of water and some mousse and fro it out. Or use a scarf for a headband. Maybe rock a chic hat. And don’t forget to bring the confidence, professionalism and portfolio!
The divine within gives me strength and courage to face a world and industry full of rejection. I realize that I can conquer anything placed before me, I am unique in every way and that I am Fly!
If I were in a situation where I did not know what a customer/photographer expected from me I wouldn’t do anything besides be myself.
