Who is your Favorite model?
I really don’t have a favorite model, but I like someone who pictures express who they are.
What is your favorite book?
I don’t really have a favorite book, but I do love reading realistic fiction and autobiographies.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie would have to be Coach Carter. I like anything that’s inspirational.
Why did you become a model and what is your goal as a model?
I became a model because I like being exposed. If my face could be on everything, it would, lol. I’m photogenic and I’m into the fashion. I’ve always wanted to be a model but never took time to further it. Now is the time and I’m putting my all into it.
How important is your hair as a model? Why do you choose to wear your hair the way you do?
Hair is a huge feature as a model. I mean, you can have the cleanest outfit; you can be the most handsome but if you hair is not nicely done, your photo shoot will turn out bad. I wear a Frohawk which is a mohawk for the African American males. I wear my frohawk the way I do because it tells a lot about me. It fits me, and it’s something that I chose to wear.
What does your hair mean to you? Is it just an accessory that compliments your personality and style or is it deeper than that?
What my hair means to me is swag. It compliments my face I would say.
How important is a woman’s hair to you? Does a weave, relaxed hair or a natural head bother you or do you have a preference for either of these styles?
A woman’s hair to me is a big thing. I don’t care if a woman has a weave, extensions, or any of that but her hair must be well done, not half done. I don’t have no preference just as long as it looks good.
What do you think of our pageant “America’s Next Natural Model” to promote natural African hair?Do you think black hair is an issue? Why or why not?
I think that “Americas Next Natural Model” would be a great concept. Natural needs to be brought out more. People need to stop changing who they are because of what others say. Then people would see how unique we are as african americans, with our natural selves.
