Allyson Gross Challenge 3 - A Signature Style for Going Natural, America's Next Natural Model simple, keeping, chavez, justyce 0
My hairstyle is the definition of simple! I sliced my thumb open while cooking and had to get stitches so I literally did this style with one hand.
- I first did a co-wash with the herbal almond shampoo.
- While my hair was still damp I applied curly twist out milk to my hair in sections and combed through with my fingers, detangling as I went along.
- Once I applied the curly twist out milk to the large sections and detangled, I twisted each section and Bantu knotted the twists. I did the twist a bit loose.
- Finally I allowed them to air dry, over night and took out the Bantu’s for a curly look. I used a bit of Herbal Styling gel on the edges and throughout to hold the style. I did a tuck and roll twist in the frontal section (Optional).
To get a feel of Tahiti, in Winter? This was going to be a challenge indeed! Using going-natural products I produced wonderful pictures that communicated Tahiti and I almost forgot it was 45 degrees outside.
