Going Natural Hair Care goes Curaçao and you are invited

Kuralicious Natural Hair and beauty Fest Curacao

Kuralicious Natural Hair and beauty Fest Curacao

After an international tour Mireille Liong, MS.c, founder of Going-Natural.com, will be the keynote speaker at Kuralicious, the first Natural Hair, Health & Beauty Fest on Curaçao.

The fact that her little 5 year old daughter mainly sees girls with fake hair and extensions as examples, motivated Marlynella Conception, the woman behind this event, to start the natural hair fest on her island.

With the goal to change the stereotypical perception of natural hair as well as to educate a wider audience about natural hair, the versatility of natural hairstyles and the latest on natural hair care, the administrative employee purposefully planned Kuralicious.

To set the tone of depth and diversity the event will be launched with ‘Bad Hair Uprooted’, the exhibition by Mireille Liong, MS.c that features a spectrum of contemporary natural hairstyles while sharing the untold history of Black follicles.

‘The Going Natural Video Diaries’ a documentary that pictures the natural hair movement in motions, is also part of the program.

Natural hairstylists, specialists and entrepreneurs from the islands to America will be present, giving the event an international Caribbean flair.

Sabine Bellevue who is a licensed beautician with Haitian roots and the owner of Sabine’s Hallway Natural Hair Salon in Brooklyn, will teach workshops and master classes.

To introduce the Going Natural hair care products, Mireille Liong will also demonstrate how to create curl definition in any type of natural hair.

Women as well as men who like to be a model are invited to email the organization. Vendors and entrepreneurs are also welcome to join Kurlalicious. For vendors info go to Vendors wanted for Kuralicious, the Natural Hair Fest Curaçao.
