I did my BC on September 17, 2009. Sometimes it gets challenging to decide just what to do with this hair on my head but I love it. I embrace a whole new me and my hair is my crown’s glory. What I find exciting is the ways I can do my hair and the outcome is always something almost like artwork. An expression and extention of my thoughts, hopes and dreams is sometimes tied to my roots! LOL. Yes it is hair love. Far too long I did not value my hair. I fought it. I permed it. Practically lost it if I had kept going on with the abuse. Finally I decided I had to embrace what I received from my Maker. Once I did that, I began to see the beauty of this mane. It is not easy and most definitely remains defiant at times and yet I love it. Who else has my own unique hair on their head??? No one does because this is mine alone. Thank you God.
