The Ms. Napptuality competition has been a wonderful experience for me because it has allowed me to present myself to the world and show that having natural hair is not only something beautiful but something sacred.
The Ms. Napptuality competition has been a wonderful experience for me because it has allowed me to present myself to the world and show that having natural hair is not only something beautiful but something sacred.
I am writing this because of the amount of love and respect that I have for my African-American sisters. At this point I know there needs to be a change in the way the media reflects African-American hair and beauty.
For this challenge I chose the Ngozi design Amethyst and Wood beaded necklace. Amethyst being one of the most beautiful ancient gemstones, even adorned by the ancient Egyptians; promotes peaceful energy, aids intuition, encourages freedom from addictions, and promotes positive thinking patterns to flow to your third eye chakra.
Many people think that Chic hairstyles are not for Black Women because of how curly their hair is but this is in fact not true. Natrually curly or locked hair can definitely be an advantage when it comes to chic hairstyles.
