Alimatu Sallah Transitioning Thoughts From Relaxed to Natural, Going natural, Natural Hair Story, transitioning, month 0
If people will stop asking me why I cut my hair, it would be great!!!! You would think you had a right to do what you want with your own head. A gentleman actually watch me today and ask, “will it grow back?” I just smiled politely and continued my journey. If he only knew the thoughts that went through my head. *bald head idiot*
ANYWAYSSSSS……
So it’s exactly one month after my BC. My hair is growing nicely. I don’t fuss with it much. I co-wash 2-3 times a week. Put a leave-in condish in, put a little olive oil and I’m done. I bought the raw shea butter but have not done much with it yet. I do have a spray bottle that consist of melted Shea butter, olive oil, my leave-in condish and water, that I use daily.
I do plan on getting a more in dept routine but until I’m at 3 months. Why? Because there is not much you can do with little hair. Like I said it’s growing nicely already with the “no fuss routine”. I have very thirsty hair so just like when humans thirst and they drink water, I do the same for my hair. I actually carry my spray bottle to work and spray at lunch 🙂
I am planning on changing up my “no fuss routine” because my scalp itches a lot, that’s actually how I know my hair is growing. Silly but that’s my thought, my scalp is not dry. I’m going to co-wash every other day, apply leave-in condish and the Doo Gro Anti Itch Growth Oil for the month and see what results I get.
Well, that’s about it for today…..planning to do a blog at least every 2 weeks on my hair.
Nappy Peace
