One day before the Transcendence Hair Show was the bazaar. Some vendors were already set up at 9:00 am and by noon the former disco on Waverly Ave was full of booths.
Asha Mandela, the world record holder of the longest locs, made a guest appearance to meet and greet visitors at Kafele’s booth. After 21 years of growth, her locs are 19 feet and 6.5 inches. Absolutely amazing to see how beautiful and healthy her hair is.
