One of the reasons I adore this Cowrie Hair Band, is its versatility. Here I have opted for a more sophisticated and glamorous look. Though the band is intricate, it does not detract from my hairstyle. On the contrary, it is the perfect highlight to any look in the summer, winter, spring or fall!
Though intricate up-do’s, twists and cornrows are my staple styles, many times during the day and also at night, I experience dry and itchy scalp. When this happens I always reach for Going Natural’s Roller Braid. This product is infused with a magnificent blend of both carrier and essential oils necessary to satisfy even the driest of exposed scalps. The Roller Braid also has an amazingly pleasant smell! Open the twist off cap of the Roller Braid.
Hold the small bottle between your fingers.
Tip the bottle slightly and hold it over those scalp-exposed areas of your braids, twists, cornrows or locs.

The use of the band is quite simple and I find it to be wonderfully versatile. There are many ways for the band to be used. Here are a couple of my favorites that I find to be an excellent compliment to any style:
Hold the band out in front of you with the cowrie shells facing away from you.
Make sure that you are holding the band firmly on both ends and wrap it around your head.
Be sure to secure the ends in the clasps behind your head or at the nape of your neck.
If you would like, secure the ends even further with protective bobby pins.
When I head out on the town, I love to feel like a princess! When I wear the Cowrie Hair Band like this, I feel like royalty, exquisite, elegant and beautiful. Radiant and confident, I’m ready for whatever the night may hold!
Oh no! It’s time for my night to end. As I pass by a mirror on the way back to my humble abode, what girl can resist a peek? I see that my hair is still perfect, the band is still comfortably in place, and my scalp still feels incredibly refreshed, soothed and nourished.
