Nathalie has almost shoulder length natural hair. She keeps her hair happy and healthy with her favorite product the Silky Shea Butter available right here in the NappShop. I have never caught Nathalie with a bad hairdo and I don’t think anyone will. Before she went to Riqui-Did-It for a new style, she had it washed, conditioned and moisturized with the Silky Shea.

Riqui is one of the most creative stylists around. Take a look at her book Braid Sculpture with incredible styles. It took her almost 4 hours to create this incredible style. Nathalie’s hair is divided in 4 different sections. Each section has it’s own character two of which are characterized by a sunburst sign.

Just like the sun, the pattern highlights the elegance of the style. The hair is flat twisted in different directions and end up in loose twists. The loose twists are rolled up in a bun in the back while the twists in the front create a sophisticated bang.

 

 

Riqui outdid herself once more. My hair was braided in cornrows around my scalp in different patterns. The right side had a flowery pattern, while the cornrows on left side had an arch form all the way to the back. The loose part was twisted initially to create curls and volume.

Hair Care
It took Riqui about 3 hours to do this style and it lasted for 3 weeks. To keep the style neat you should sleep with a cap. To keep the scalp clean you can use Sea Breeze and use a moisturizer sparingly.
