What was the hardest part of your journey? And the best part?
The hardest part was convincing my family that IT WAS OKAY TO GO NATURAL AND ROCK IT PROUDLY! The BEST PART has been since my most recent chop, I have convinced many others friends and family to go natural **IT WORKED** LOL! Also The fact that I discovered my natural BEAUTY WITH MY NATURAL CURLS~

What did your hair journey teach you?
This journey is teaching me soo much, but the biggest lesson I’d say I’ve learned so far is no matter how you WEAR UR HAIR AND EVERYTHING ELSE,ROCK THE MESS OUT OF IT BOLDLY AND PROUDLY! People are going to talk no matter what, And those who can’t accept it (MOSTLY MY OWN PEOPLE) Usually have some type of self hatred why they can’t/choose not to LOVE OUR NATURAL HAIR!
Describe your worse hairdo and your best hairdo and please include a picture if you can?
I can honestly say I don’t have a bad hairdo lol! I’m a stylist so if I mess up my OWN hair THEN THERES A BIGGG PROBLEM! My best hairdo since going natural would have to be my big chop! I just love the bald look this is why @ the time of creating this page; I used the name BIGBALDNBEAUTIFUL 😉
Looking back, has your perception of your hair or black hair in general changed?
Even before I went natural, I’ve loved “our hair type”. It’s the BEST HAIR TO WORK WITH! IT’S NOT DEAD AND WE CAN BE SO VERSATILE WITH OUR HAIRSTYLES, CURLY 1 DAY, STRAIGHT The next!
What is your favorite hairstyle?
MY favorite hairstyles as a Naturalista would have to be any Mohawk. IM JUST A MOHAWK FAN!
How long have you been a member and how did you find going-natural.com?
I’ve been a member since November 2011, but I’ve been a fan of the site from the first time I seen a braided style in google search and it directed me to this page.
