How important is your hair as a model? Why do you choose to wear your hair this way?
My hair is very important, as a man with dred locks, it can make me either stand out or break me. My hair usuallay books the job for me, so i keep it in tip top shape…
What does your hair mean to you? Is it just an accessory that compliments your personality and style or is it deeper than that?
Like India sings “I am not my hair..” Being I am of Jamaican and Spanish decent, I do take pride in my hair and do understand what it means to be a Rasta, but personally, there is no significance to my hair, it’s just another element that makes me, me.
How important is a woman’s hair to you? Does a weave, relaxed hair or a natural head bother you or do you have a preference for either of these styles?
Being a photographer, hair for ladies is very important. I love natural hair on a woman, or a shaved head like my model Alyssa. A weave done right is amazing as well. I don’t have a preference as long as it’s done right I will love it.
Our readers asked me to include this specific question so here I go: Is the texture of a woman’s hair important to you? And length?
Length of a woman’s hair is not important. I remember growing up, she’d always have to have long hair. Now, I love all lengths and textures, as long as you keep it up, I find beauty in it.
Do you think black hair is an issue? Why or why not?
Why do we have to put a color on hair? Hair is hair, manage it, treat it right and it will be good to you.
Last word?
Jah Jah Bless
