Why I love nappy hair!

I love nappy hair because its so distinctively fine!
It is so incredibly versatile, I dont need to cut or color my hair for a completely different look.
I can go from an unconventional freeform bush to some neat intricate cornrows that will even make a rocket scientist scratch her head.
I can rock the most incredible and original hairstyles. I can go from some messy looking chucky twists to such a meticulous styled sophisticated afro that will turn heads, in showbiz and runaways.
I dont have to comb my hair every day to make it look good. In fact I can wear a hair-do for weeks, even months in a row without having to restyle my hair.
That to me is a most precious life gift.
So when they say nappy hair is difficult, high maintenance or even bad, I laugh. Some people clearly dont understand the distinctiveness of the only hair type on planet Earth that grows up and stands wide as to be in touch with a greater universe. Hair that naturally surrounds one like a sacred cloud and feels so soft and fluffy while protection the scalp.
You can try to tame nappy hair, lye it, fry, dye it but it will always come back distinctively fine,
defining you who you are.
