wow! I’m definitely in the mood for love now! this was a great challenge and all the ladies did a great job, it again was very hard to pick a a clear winner.
as an overall shoot my favourite come from Timolin her step by step guide was great as were her glamour shots, it was near faultless, however my favourite image came from Denitrika, the image below is breath taking she looks so fresh and beautiful, it is so romanitic, i had to pick it as my stand out picture for this week. my second favourites image came from Nina this sassy images is just so much fun i had to give it a mention!
Timolin
one word….Fantastic! your step by step images are great they show the stages clearing and even show the products that you used , which is great for the advertisers! you images were clean and clear and your kept your images cropped close so that we focus on the tutorial. the results looked great, and your images look sultry, confident, you look like a femme fatale! your make up and styling is flawless and all your shots run in sequence with each other, this could be on the pages of essence or any top magazines beauty segment well done!
Ebony
what a great step by step guide to the twist out! your images where very descriptive and i could follow the tutorial with or without the commentary. your results were stylish and versatile. I’m glad you showed how the look works as an updo as well as being worn down. i love the images outside the colours from your make up and your accessories really pop and you look very whimsical and romantic. be sure to elongate your neck in your shots, in some of the pictures you look a little awkward, so when posing keep your neck long and regal. you over shoot is very professional and you look sophisticated and beautiful
Munya
again another great step by step guide, i love your locks and your guide showed the versatility of the style. your up do looks fantastic and the red is very in keeping with the theme. i like that you are using a clean background however the white is a little stark and make you look like a cardboard cut out. i like the picture from your twist out guide the most because you look relaxed and natural, as we can see a little of your personality and you natural make up and skin look flawless.
Natasha
what a great hair style! this twist looks great and is such a detailed style. your step by step guide looks as though it is missing a few steps, when doing a photo tutorial we need to have all the stages in place, i would like to have seen the braiding in more detail and a simpler setting for your images. i like the fact that you include your daily life and details about your life into your shots, your down to earth approach is great and very inspiring.
Laura
the step by step guide commentary was very detailed which was great, however your images could have been a little more detailed, but i was impressed that you showed the products that you were using and as always your bubbly personality was ever present! i adored your Grecian style updo it looked elegant and was perfectly put together with the gold hair band. your composition and photo quality is improving week by week, remember to be selective with your images sometimes less is more.
Raven
your guide was very detailed and your pictured showed every stage of the process, it’s great for a personal blog, however for a professional how to, I’d want clean backgrounds and continuity in costume and surrounding. i really like that you included images of how your twa twist out evolved over time. as always your images were very creative and i liked your styling (very gaga esque!). remember as you are sporting a twa your hair needs to look sharp and well groomed. be sure to pat down any flyaways!
Denitrika
your step by step guide is one of my favs! it was very detailed and showed all the stages well, the style was again very creative and really suits you. i would liked to have seen you with a natural make up look for the guide the eyeshadow though fab is a little distracting. it looks great in your glamour shots as it fits with the finished look. i love your glamour shots they look so fresh and youthful and i’m so happy your taking the judges advice and thinking about your surroundings (the grass was a great back drop) i love your shoots because you have come so far from the first and you are getting better and better.
Nina
lovely step by step guide! i love the vibrant back drop and the fact that your showcased your tools. your twist our looks flawless and i love how you styled it for your glamour shots, your fashion style is lovely! all those dresses are sassy and fun. your personality shows through.
