Hello I started my micro braidlocs in Feb of this year and I do them myself but I would like to know what kind of product I should be using so they don’t dry out I guess. I do them myself and use the interlocking technique because it works best for my hair. I had dreadlocks for almost 9 years and the palm roll just wasn’t very effective plus I want them to look as similar to sisterlocs. Feel free to comment or email me and I have pics if need be. I just washed it yesterday and wanted to know before I start touching it up

Hey you. This is awesome information. I started both of my daughters with braidlocks and interlocked them after. I wish I had this info before I started. My question is, what do you use for deep cleaning? I’m from Wisconsin and also is a sports fanatic!

I was told the number of locks determines how big or small braidlocs it will be. I was going for the small, medium type… similar to braidlocs. My daughter has 180 (verses some ppl that have 400)braidlocs. Does this mean her dreads are going to be huge?

No, that is about my size. I have just about 200 locs or a few more but then again I have a small head.

Hi i wanted to start locks with small twist. I do not want to part just braid. I do not like parting. My question is, will that cause a lot pf problems in the future. I was thinking about using the roll method instead of interlocking. My hair is very thick and locks quickly.

Hi! I just put my braids in two days ago, and now it’s the waiting game, I did not use a precise grid and want to know when I should wash my hair next? about how long should I give it before I expect change.
