One of the reasons I choose for braid locs is because I think it’s the easiest way to start locs. My hair is naturally frizzy, so single twists were out of the question but even two strand twists would be hard to manage. Another reason is that I wanted micro locs.
Yes, I got braid locs. One of the reasons I choose for braid locs is because I think it’s the easiest way to start locs. My hair is naturally frizzy, so single twists were out of the question but even two strand twists would be hard to manage. Another reason is that I wanted micro locs. And to be honest this choice is mainly based on how I feel I can break more barriers when it comes to changing the perspective of natural hair.
Without question, micro locs are more accepted than the traditional dreadlocks. At the beginning of my journey, I also favored micro over traditional locs. Although, I can’t say I do now, I still feel that I have a job to do and if me choosing micro locs will help more people change their perspective of natural hair for the better then this is a small offer to pay. I intend to have lots of fun with my locs. I can tell you, I already do. Hope you enjoy them too.
