of my Comfort Zone. I have to be honest when I went through the box and saw a hat I thought oh …nooo. I have never been a hat wearer, and I was not sure of how I should do my hair to complement such a hat. I thought it would be best to keep my hair flat and simple so that the hat could fit over my hair.
Wow I can not believe the contest is almost over, it seems that as time progresses the more challenging the challenges become. For this weeks challenge I have a brown and white woven cap with a leather bill. I have to be honest when I went through the box and saw a hat I thought oh …nooo. I have never been a hat wearer, and I was not sure of how I should do my hair to complement such a hat. I thought it would be best to keep my hair flat and simple so that the hat could fit over my hair. I decided to braid my hair into two braids. I wore pearl earrings and a yellow sweater because it was chilly and I have been feeling sick. At first I felt funny wearing the hat, but the longer I wore it the more it grew on me. Although I had a hard time adjusting to wearing the hat a first I am glad, we had a hat challenge because it pushed me out of my comfort zone. I hesitated to wear hats because I was afraid that my head was too big , I thought wearing a hat would draw attention to the bigness. I guess the key to wearing a hat successfully is finding on that fits both your hair/ head and your style.
