Ten years ago, I began my loc journey and have yet to regret the first steps, although difficult at times, I took to turn my baby locs into a full-grown loc crown. My hair loves the Jamaican Mango & Lime Tingle Shampoo, Mango & Lime Locking Gel and especially the Jamaican Mango & Lime No More Itch Spray. In between washes, my scalp becomes really dry because I wrap my head in a loc scarf nightly and this is the best time to use the spray. It serves as a nice refresher and really keeps the dryness away. I do not have to go crazy with the product and overuse it or cause a lot of messy drippage.
The shampoo has a nice, natural scent and makes the scalp tingle as it works out any dandruff or dirt that might be lurking on the head. The gel is really light and is not gummy in texture like a lot of other gel products. Additionally, the fact that the gel is water-based is beneficial for loc’ers because we hate products that leave residue in our hair and love water-based products that do not, like Jamaican Mango & Lime Locking Gel.
I really like using this product and encourage loc’ers to try it throughout the duration of your loc process. I have used this product on hair clients and friends and endorse it 100%.
