You can also let your hair loose on the back or on the side as well. It is extensible and very easy to use. Different hairstyles can be done with this head wrap which can also be used as a scarf. This is the back side where I tied up the head wrap at the edges but I let it loose enough to make a big round knot in order to give it a more pleasant look.

It is ideal for scalp exposed styles like braids, twists and cornrows, but works just as fine on dreadlocks and afros.
