January 2011. I realized relaxers and chemical products damaged my hair intermitently.my hair achieved a certain length then it would brake off. I transitioned my hair. It took 6 months for my relaxed hair to shed away.

What was the worst part of your journey? And the best part?
he hardest part of my journey is and still is: thinking of a hairstyle that I am comfortable to wear in public.because your hair is an accessory and it has to look good. If not, toss it aside and do another do. The best part of my hair journey is learning how to manage natural hair.
Describe your worst hairdo and your best hairdo.
I am never pleased with my hairdo’s Worse hair do’s….I have plenty
Looking Back, has your perception of your hair or black hair in general changed? Please elaborate.
Has my perception of my hair in general changed? It changes all the time, sometimes dealing with natural hair is really easy. I love that I can apply water to my hair and mold it into a hairstyle without applying heat. But what I find trivial is the shrinkage. Because there are times when I think I can achieve a certain look, but then the shrinkage destroys that visual image on how I thought my hair would look.
What is your favorite hairstyle?
My favorite hairstyle is when I flat twist it from the nape to front of my head and then apply straws to give it a curly look. Like my profile photo. For some reason It is hard to achieve that look now.
