Have you ever noticed that men are crazier about their hair than women? Sneak a peek into any barbershop and you will see the intensity with which dudes handle caring for their coifs. A man takes his low-profile shape up very seriously, and it reaches a whole new level when he chooses to grow his hair out. The instructions for the braider get very specific; he’ll even supervise via a handheld mirror! And this is cool (if kept under control), because ultimately we all want to look our best.

This style features cornrows sweeping on an angle from opposing sides of the head. Part the hair into three triangular sections – triangle one: front, triangle two: side and triangle three: back. Begin by cornrowing the hair in the front section. Cornrow the hai the entire length of the head, then braid the remaining. Next cornrow and braid the side section. Finally, do the same to the section in the back. Once complete, add beads secured with rubber bands for a little something “extra”
