Sarah Crockers Mint Shikakai Recipe
To be honest with you I was a bit skeptical about putting the Shikakai powder in my hair. I have never seen or heard of such a product until now, I was accustomed to soapy over the counter shampoos and such. After reading about Shikakai and it’s natural ingredients along with it’s benefits. I gave it the green light. Here’s how it went…

My experience

First, I placed the Shikakai powder and water together in a bowl Second, I stirred it until the Shikakai powder and water mix to thick consistency Third, A small amount of Dr. Bonners mint shampoo was added to the mixture (Dr. Bonner is a shampoo I usually use to give my locs to give awesome that mint smell and clean it) Fourth, Massage the Mint Shikakai mixture to my scalp and let it sit for 2 – 5 minutes <div>   ~*Sings the Jeopardy think song *~ </div>Fifth, Washed it out Sixth, Wash my locs with Mango Lime Protein Conditioner Seventh, Dried my hair a little Sixth, While my hair was still a little damp I applied Parachute coconut oil and Shea butter oil to my hair 7th, Went back underneath the dryer for a complete dry 8th Styled my hair!
