I am priveleged to be competing for the title of Miss Nappturality 2008. I look at this contest as more of a challenge for myself versus against another natural sister. This contest represents more than just a title, opportunity for more exposure, and challenges in natural hair care. It sheds a light on the much needed attention that we as natural sisters don’t get from the mainstream beauty industry.
