To me one of the most frightening aspects of marriage to me is that you can’t edit your flaws or hide your bad days. However, it is also one of the beautiful things about this lifelong commitment – being accepted and loved as you truly are. The wedding ceremony is a chance for a bride and groom to express what their relationship and joint values look like. If ever there was a time to be your natural self, it’s on your wedding day.
I’m nontraditional, and have a great respect for the past. The wedding styles I developed were an attempt to reflect that. My wedding hair began with a 1920s finger wave hairstyle, followed by an urban side-swept style, and bohemian free-flowing beach locks in keeping with influences that inspire me.
