I LOVE the idea of sisterlocs! Unfortunately, my hair thinned considerably with age, and I have type 2c hair. I have never had to use a straightener or hot comb to have super straight hair. I go from the shower to the outside without having to even dry it, it is so thin and soft. There is absolutely nothing on YouTube regarding people with my type of hair. I believe that sisterlocs would only expose my thining hair with huge gaps of scalp where people with thicker and more afro-american hair can probably be more successful at disguising it. If you have ever heard of a black person with this type of issue, please let ME know. Also,my hair doesn’t seem to grow. It has maintained a length approximately to my neck for the last 40 years. As a consequence, I wear hair pieces and hats always. If you have any suggestions, they are welcome!

I would certainly go talk to a Sisterlocks consultant. One of the advantages of working with a certified consultant is that they know how to create a full head of hair with different textures and density. A consultant will be able to tell you what rotation is best for your hair type. So, please go ahead and let us know how it went. Good luck!

Hello, I am researching the cost of Sisterlocks on my 3 inch hair. Additionally, I have a small undercut. Is the installation price modified due to short hair and an undercut?

Yes the install depends on how much time it cost a consultant.

Had my consultation today and excited. I have 4c type hair and with that being said. My price is a $100.00 more than expected. I was told before my consultation about the possibility of cost increase. I believe that I am making the right investment choice. Your website has been helpful. Thanks

Can you get sisterlocs with added hair to give it more length and thickness? This style is so beautiful.

My daughters hair was 11 inches and I paid $1100 for installation and it took 49 hours over several days.
When she goes for retightened it take 6-7hrs. My daughters hair is thick. She’s had Sisterlocks since 2/2020. Lately I’ve notice that her locks are starting to bunch and beak off. It’s getting worse. I need help

How often are her Locs getting wet? Is she swimming or working out regularly? She needs to braid and band to limit the bunching. Also where is it breaking? The ends? Middle? Roots along the hairline? Is she putting too much tension in the hair with hairstyles & hair accessories? What hair products is she using? Details are needed.
