I am always on the hunt for the perfect skin moisturizer which can quench my parched skins’ thirst. I live in the hot desert of Las Vegas, Nevada and my skin takes quite a beating out here from the dry heat and hard water.  Therefore, it is important to put in the moisture which has been stripped away from the minerals that cause our hard water which are calcium and magnesium. Although, they do not carry a health risk and are non-toxic it leaves my skin feeling and looking dehydrated, scaly, and ashy.

Ordinary lotions will not do for my skin because within one hour my skin is right back dry as a bone, and dull.  So, it is not uncommon for me to spend anywhere from $25 to $40 for bottles of lotion; then only to be disappointed in their claims of all day, intense, and replenishing moisture.  Let’s face it “our skin” isn’t like anyone else’s.  We need intensive, therapeutic moisture that is natural, and skin transforming as is the Moroccan ancient products from Sula NYC!

So, you know I was highly skeptical to try yet another skin treatment and especially one that is a fraction of the cost.  After pulling the little bag out of our contestant box, my skepticism just grew.  In the kit of Sula NYC products were some samples of olive soap, a kiis (exfoliating mitt), clay, and Argan oil.  I thought to myself, “How is all of this supposed to deliver miraculous results?”  I just shrugged it off and got my essentials together to put this Sula NYC to the test.

I got a small plastic bowl and put in about a handful of the clay chips, just enough to do my two legs and arms. Then I poured warm water over it, just enough to immerse the clay chips. I mixed it up with my hands until all the chips were melted and it made a thick paste.

I stepped into my warm bathroom which I previously steamed up by running the shower, because I really wanted to see if this product would make good on its promise. My pores were opened and ready for this test.  I wet my legs with water and spread the olive soap over them.  The olive soap is sticky, and later I would find it moisturizing.  It smells of faint olives and went on smooth and thick.

Then I took the kiis and started to scrub my legs using a circular motion.  I was in awe of what I saw.  There seemed to be black, gluey dirt, yes black dirt falling off of my legs. I was astonished because I regularly use an exfoliating soap all over my body, or I thought I did.  After I scrubbed my legs and arms paying close attention to my elbows I rinsed.  I ran my hands over my skin and thought I had to be dreaming. There was no way my skin was smooth without any hint of my signature chicken skin.

Next it was time for the clay.  Here is the messy part, you spread the thick dark grey clay all over your legs, arms, and elbows and let it sit. I allowed the paste to sit on me for about 8 minutes or so. Afterward, I rinsed and immediately noticed how soft to the touch my skin was. I was beyond satisfied at how moisturized and soft my skin felt.

I dried off and followed up with the argan oil.  This oil was lightweight and my skin just drank it right up.  After the mini spa treatment I gave myself I felt so pampered, and my skin felt brand new.  I am fine with admitting when I am wrong, and I have to say I was wrong for doubting this product. It has definitely made me a believer, and now I am a Sula NYC fan, and will be one for the duration.

You have to try this skin care line and get your body beautiful, naturally!
