The Afro signifies power and strength.
With just a hint of militancy, it whispers to those who are listening, “I am free! And I am free to be me.”

Finally! I'd been wondering when I was going to get to model my funky, little fuzzy, brown hat. This was my absolutely fav of all the goodies we received.
Every day you see people wearing hats, no matter where you go, what time of year it is, or what type of event you are at. Hats are very versatile and are a way for people to express themselves. I found my hat to be very cool and I know that I’ll be able to wear it anytime or anywhere (more…)

of my Comfort Zone. I have to be honest when I went through the box and saw a hat I thought oh …nooo. I have never been a hat wearer, and I was not sure of how I should do my hair to complement such a hat. I thought it would be best to keep my hair flat and simple so that the hat could fit over my hair.
