Taking Care of your Locs in the Winter

      Sherri(Loctician/Braider)
Locs

During fall the weather begins to change  and wearing your up isn't as inportant right?!  But in fact during the fall and winter is the most important time for your hair.  By wearing hats, head scarfs or anything in that nature that will absorb your hair's moisture or stop  your hair from breathing, you will need to keep your hair conditioned and moisturized even more or jus pay attention so  that your hair doesn't become to dry.  Here's some simple suggestions:
  1. Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion (by: Organic Root Stimulator)                                                                                                              I strongly suggest you use this  for your hair.  Apply 2 times a week either morning or evening or whenever you think about it.  It's wonderful for any texture of hair especially your locs. Istand 110% behind it.
  2. Only wash your hair once a month or a month and a half.  Washing to much will make your hair weak .  You wont have as much sweat  and dirt build up like in the summer and the spring.  *For those who get their hair done every 2 weeks, you will make it. lol*
  3. For Dandruff  use "No More Flakes" (by Organic Root Stimulator).  Use anytime! Everyday!  Depending on how severe your dryness becomes.  Now dont be scared,  USE THIS ANYTIME YOU THINK ABOUT IT.  Moisturizer can only do so much!

*I do have these products available.  You can find them at any hair   store as well.

Hey Kinky Ladies.

I am currenlty on the hunt for new styles for free form hair. I currently wear a twist out mostly everyday. I get my hair styled sometime with a blow out, mohawk or flexi rods. I need something new and fresh.

Any ideas? Any pictures would be great!

 Thanks!
